For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men (Titus 2:11).
The beloved apostle Paul reminded his readers that the first appearance of the Son of God upon this planet came directly from the grace of the Father. For centuries the advent of the Savior had been awaited and when He came Simeon said: “For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people” (Luke 2:30-31).
Every man born upon this earth can be saved, but all have not appropriated the beautiful gift of God’s grace – salvation in His Son!
Paul would write to the Galatians that salvation resulted from a system of faith that included baptism into Christ (Galatians 3:26-27). But, without God’s grace, man would be helpless. Gratitude for His favors should permeate the thinking of all.
