For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard (Acts 4:20).
Have you ever received news that you just could not hold in? Maybe it was the birth of a grandchild, aceing a difficult test, or winning an award. No matter what, you were going to share the news.
In Acts 4, Peter and John had the best news possible: the good news of Jesus Christ. Even in the face of persecution, they could not stop telling others about the risen Lord.
When there is news that is exciting to us, we tell anyone we possibly can tell. The news of what Jesus has done for us and for the world should be the greatest news we have. Let us spend each day telling others the best news ever – Jesus is risen and hope is real!
