Daily Lift – March 20, 2016

But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out. (Numbers 32:23).

As a child I truly believed my mother had eyes in the back of her head. She could tell me that I should not do what I was in the process of doing while she was looking a different direction. Dad “knew” what I had done even before I told him. How? I did not understand that loving godly parents KNOW their children.

God loves us. He has instructed us. He has also warned us. One fact that is undeniable – “be sure your sins will find you out”! We will reap what we sow (Gal. 6:7-8). No one else in the world may know; others may think you are perfect, but God knows. In judgment, all things will be revealed and we will be judged according to our deeds (Romans 2:5-6).
