Redeemed Us to God
When a man 1 s success has required extraordinarily much of him, he might say he put his life’s blood into it. However, such is rarely true in the literal sense. Yet, at the Twentieth of Acts, Paul the apostle said that the Lord had purchased the Church with His own blood. Second Peter Three concurs that the Lord has quite literally bought those who have been saved, while First Peter One declares that the blood is precious by which sinners are redeemed. By that blood, the Ninth of Hebrews assures that the Lord has obtained eternal redemption for us. The blood of bulls and goats could never suffice for the task, and the most wealthy of men could never pay the price required. However, Revelation Five rejoices that, by His blood, Jesus Christ has redeemed us to God.
