Daily Lift – November 28, 2016

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness (Colossians 1:11).

The apostle Paul wrote to the saints at Colossae encouraging them, speaking of their faith, love and hope. Paul told them he prayed for them every day.

Paul further desired these followers of Christ to be filled with knowledge and walk acceptably in the sight of God.

Our verse of emphasis finds Paul desiring them to be strong (strengthened), patiently happy to be serving their Lord and Master.

How we need to hear those uplifting words! In our world of sin and disregard for Almighty God, let us be strong. When others turn to evil and sinful ways, let us be content and happy in living righteously for the Master.
