Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).
The opening words of the Bible declares “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). Great encouragement is found in “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3).
God is all powerful and able to do great things (Isaiah 25:1; Mark 10:27). The apostle Paul, from Mars Hill, declared that “in him we live, and move, and have our being” (Acts 17:28). Every day of life, every breath of air, every ray of sunshine is from our loving heavenly Father. Let us count our blessings and express sincere gratitude to Jehovah God for everything.
