With Him in Glory

The Third of Ephesians assures us that the Lord is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us. Though we may feel we could think of and ask for a great deal, it is our spiritual development and achievement to which the passage makes reference. For example, the First of John teaches us that the eye of man could not have seen, his ear could not have heard, and that could not have entered into his heart, except God had revealed it. The Third of Colossians promises that those who have exercised their power to become spiritual sons of God, and have become alive anew in Christ, shall also appear with Him in glory.
