Presence of His Glory
First Corinthians Ten teaches us that temptation is common to everyone. However, one of the ways in which God demonstrates His faithfulness to man is by disallowing Satan from tempting anyone beyond his ability to resist. Further, the Heavenly Father provides a way to escape temptation. When Satan’s spirits were once able to possess persons at will, the Lord demonstrated
the superiority of His power by the casting out of the evil spirits. By this and other truths, the world may know there is not
a reason to surrender when the power of Christ is available to rescue us. Jude assures us that the Lord is able to keep us from falling and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory.
