Every spiritual blessing known to mankind resides in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3).
One of the greatest treasures and resources we have in Christ is the privilege and power of prayer (1 Peter 3:12; 1 John 5:14-15). It is such an inspiration and encouragement to know that God takes “delight in the prayer of the upright” (Proverbs 15:8b).
In a world filled with sorrow, trial, adversity, temptation, trouble, persecution, and death, it ought to thrill our souls to know God invites us to come before His “throne of grace” in prayer with the expectation “that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
