There is a basic human desire that all mankind possess, the desire to belong, to fit in, to be accepted.
What a blessing to consider the thought – that God, the Almighty Creator, wants to be joined with His creation. It is a blessing extended to every man that will separate himself from sin and prepare himself to be an adequate abode for God. The statement in Leviticus 26:12 was a statement to that chosen nation then and is a promise to God’s chosen nation – the spiritual nation – even today. God wants to be our God!
Will we let Him? Will we follow Him and His encouragement (2 Corinthians 6:17-18)?
