But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7).
A Christian should constantly be walking in the light of God’s direction. Such living brings one into partnership with the Father, Christ, His Son, and all others who walk in the light.
Spiritual life, like physical life, is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11, 14; Hebrews 9:22; Matthew 26:27-28). Jesus left His blood in His death (John 19:33-34). We contact that death, therefore Christ’s blood, in baptism (Romans 6:3-4).
Peter called that blood priceless (1 Peter 1:18- 19). Paul could not find words to describe the power of the Savior’s bloody sacrifice (2 Corinthians 9:15).
