Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20).

Stretch your mind for a moment. What is the greatest thing you could ever ask of God? You are not stretching enough. What is the most extreme thing that your imagination could ever fathom asking of God?

BDAG Lexicon tells us that the single Greek word for “exceeding abundantly” in Ephesians 3:20 is the “highest form of comparison imaginable,” and they translate its use here as “infinitely more than.”

What is it that you want to ask of God? What is it that you need from God? His power (which is working in us) is able to go to infinity and beyond! Cast all of your cares upon Him today! He is able!
